I was diagnosed a little bit more than one year ago.
In December 2019, I went to the doctor as usual, as I was being followed for a simple treatment concerning my blood pressure. I told him that I noticed that when I was inhaling, there was a whistling sound at the end of the inspiration. The doctor told me it was nothing to worry about. He gave me a prescription for a CT scan anyway, but I didn’t do it immediately because I had to go on vacation and figured I would go when I got back.
When I came back, I went back to my doctor for my blood pressure treatment and he asked me if I had done the CT scan.
So I’ve decided to do it but It was very complicated at the time with the Covid 19 situation to be able to have an appointment. I was told it was not urgent. I went back to the doctor who gave me a new prescription. It was during this CT scan that they told me the bad news: I had a lung tumor.
Of course we were very worried. It was again very complicated to have an appointment with the doctor, but I am lucky to have a girl who is working in the medical field. I was able to have a teleconsultation with the doctor to whom I showed the images of the CT Scan. He sent me to Montsouris institute.
All the medical staff were wonderful, I was very impressed by the kindness of the team.
But I was so worried that very quickly I went to my GP to ask for tranquilizers. From that point on, I was moderately worried, despite the severity of the illness. After that, it’s like stepping into a steamroller and having to go through it.
It was my doctor at Institut Curie who told me about Moovcare®, and I immediately accepted. Moovcare® is now a very important complement in my disease.
If I had to tell an anecdote about Moovcare®, I would say the time when I have had a blood problem. I reported this problem in the morning, and in the afternoon of the same day someone called me! It was extremely reassuring for me. I was able to see the effectiveness of Moovcare®. Everything went great, and I was truly reassured thanks to Moovcare®.
